On the morning of April 21, 2023, at HPT HCM Office, HPT  Vietnam Corporation organized a workshop with the topic "Application of AI/Chat GPT in Business", presented by Associate Professor - Doctor (Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D.) Dinh Dien from the Computational Linguistics Center, VNUHCM-University Of Science (VNUHCM-US | HCMUS). This program is part of the internal workshop plan for 2023, as well as a series of activities aimed at changing the perception and application of AI in daily work for HPT employees. The workshop was attended by the company's leadership team and employees in HCM and Hanoi (via online meeting using Microsoft Teams).

Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien's presentation revolved around the story of how ChatGPT has been making waves worldwide since late 2022. Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien analyzed the reasons why ChatGPT has had such a significant impact, as this application is related to language, which contains information. According to the relationship between language and information that Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien presented, human language can control the world.
The content of Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien’s presentation focused on four main topics:
Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien analyzed and provided specific examples of how ChatGPT can be applied to enhance productivity and improve job quality in various job positions. The speaker shared experiences and tricks for effectively using ChatGPT to achieve desired results. Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien aimed to provide a multidimensional perspective on the application of ChatGPT in work, helping HPT employees grasp an overview of AI technology in general and ChatGPT in particular. Furthermore, the speaker also analyzed the capabilities, limitations, and challenges of ChatGPT in specific work fields, particularly in the context of HPT. Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien expressed the desire to collaborate with HPT to develop software that can translate Nom script, a traditional Vietnamese writing system, into Romanized script,a system that represents Vietnamese words using the Roman alphabet.
The workshop attracted the attention of all HPT employees, with many interesting questions related to ChatGPT, Assoc. Prof. - Ph.D. Dinh Dien's evaluations, and perspectives on ChatGPT in various fields of life. It can be said that this was an extremely beneficial session, providing a valuable opportunity for HPT employees to better understand ChatGPT and its applications in work and life. At the same time, it helps to promote interest and motivation for research and application of AI in HPT's operational field.
