HPT is a partner in the exhibition and seminar series "Exploring Digital Data for Successful Digital Transformation" in Ho Chi Minh City.
Last October 17th to 18th, 2023, the event "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week 2023" with the theme "Exploring Digital Data for Successful Digital Transformation" was organized by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City (DoIC HCMC) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) and the Banking Times at the Tan Son Nhat Pavillon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event attracted over 500 delegates, including leaders from various government agencies, research institutes, provinces, departments, and organizations from the southern regions of Vietnam. Leaders from businesses, corporations, conglomerates, associations, and universities also participated in the program.
During this occasion, HPT participated as a sponsor, introducing solutions like HPT SmartNoc, HPT WMS, and HCapollo at the Experience Zone, showcasing various models, applications, and digital transformation solutions from both IT and non-IT organizations and enterprises.
The "Exploring Digital Data for Successful Digital Transformation" event included:
- 01 Plenary session on topics related to the digital government and digital platforms of Ho Chi Minh City in 2023.
- 06 specialized workshops covering topics like digital governance, digital data, digital education, digital healthcare, digital infrastructure, and digital applications.
- A closing ceremony and award presentation for the "Artificial Intelligence Challenge Contest."
- An exhibition area featuring over 40 booths introducing digital platforms of the city, products, and services from technology companies, financial institutions, and banks, attracting more than 2,000 participants to the program activities.
As part of the specialized workshop on "Digital Infrastructure - Security, Safety, and Information Security," HPT's representative, Mr. Le Quoc Bao, Deputy Director of the Health, Safety, and Environment Center, discussed the importance of digital infrastructure in enhancing business efficiency and operations. He emphasized the opportunities brought by digital transformation while also highlighting the challenges related to security and information safety. Furthermore, he noted that ensuring digital safety is not solely the responsibility of security experts but is a duty for everyone involved in digital infrastructure.
Within the framework of the event, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City organized the closing ceremony and award presentation for the "AI Challenge Competition Ho Chi Minh City 2023" on the afternoon of October 18, 2023. It is worth noting that this year's competition had over 2,700 participants from Ho Chi Minh City and various provinces across the country. With the theme "Event Retrieval from Visual Data," the competition aimed to provide a new and useful platform to encourage individuals and research teams, both domestic and international, to propose and improve advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions for addressing important real-life problems. Alongside the competition since its inception, during the closing ceremony and award presentation, HPT's representative, Mr. Nguyen Quyen, Deputy General Director, received a token of appreciation from the organizing committee.
HPT is honored to have had the opportunity to participate and support the "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week 2023" event. It is hoped that the exchange and sharing of knowledge on digital transformation, security, and information safety are vital ways to promote sustainable development for the city and the entire nation.
