On November 25, 2023, within the framework of the Techfest-Whise 2023 event, the final round of the DigiTrans Smart City Competition took place. The competition focused on innovative initiatives for building a smart city in 2023 under the theme "Application of digital transformation in smart cities." It was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and the People's Committee of Thu Duc City. After months of competition, the DigiTrans Smart City Competition successfully identified numerous outstanding initiatives.
At the final of the DigiTrans Smart City competition in 2023, Mr. Nguyen Quyen, Deputy General Director and representative of HPT, participated as a judge and presented the award to the most outstanding initiative.
Mr. Nguyen Quyen, Deputy General Director of HPT (on the far right), represented the company in presenting the First Prize.It is noted that this year's competition attracted more than 100 projects, including technology startups and initiatives from universities across Ho Chi Minh City. The organizers expect that these startup projects will maintain their passion and creative spirit to deliver real value, contributing to the promotion of the innovative ecosystem, enhancement of digital transformation, and participation in the development of Ho Chi Minh City's smart city and the nation as a whole.
During the final round, participating teams competed by presenting their products and business models to the panel of judges, consisting of experts in the fields of technology, innovative entrepreneurship, and representatives from organizations and units associated with the competition.
