On December 22, 2023, the Finals of the "IT GotTalent 2023  - 8th Edition" competition were successfully held at the campus of Hutech University in Thu Duc (High-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City). In this competition, HPT collaborated and was one of the main sponsors, aiming to contribute to the development of high-quality IT human resources for the IT industry.

The competition saw the participation of 140 teams (1-4 students per team) from 6 universities: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Gia Dinh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The panel of judges for the finals consisted of experts from 9 sponsoring corporations/companies, including VNPT, HPT, TMA, FSoft, Zien Solution, Citizen Pathway, KMS, Viet Japan Partner, and HDBank.

Representing HPT, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy General Director and Director of the HSE Center, participated in the judging panel for Table A - Information Security, where 13 teams competed.

The "IT GotTalent 2023 " competition serves as a healthy and beneficial learning platform for interaction among students majoring in IT and ATTT (Information Security) from various faculties and institutes within HUTECH. The program has been consistently successful for the past 7 years, with the mission of discovering and honoring outstanding students, affirming the quality of education at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and selecting talented students for training to participate in academic competitions at different levels.

The preliminary round, held from December 12 to December 14, 2023, selected the top 122 teams/258 participants. The semi-finals took place from December 15 to December 17, 2023, divided into 5 specialized categories: Security, Smart Device, Website & Desktop, AI, IoT, Blockchain & Game, Network. In the semi-finals, HUTECH selected 10-15 teams from each category (including teams from 5 universities) to compete in the final round.

At the conclusion of the final round, the competition selected 35 winning teams. This achievement not only represents success but also affirms the abilities, creativity, and diligence of the participating teams. It is hoped that these teams will be outstanding representatives of innovation and talent in the field of Information Technology.

HPT believes that the IT GotTalent 2023  competition is a valuable platform that helps discover and nurture young IT talents. HPT expresses its desire to continue accompanying the competition in the coming years, contributing to the development of the overall IT human resources and specifically those of HPT.
