On April 21, 2026, HPT, in collaboration with ADG and HPE, successfully hosted a seminar titled “Optimizing Operations and Enhancing Data Protection for Businesses”. The event aimed to provide practical insights and solutions to help organizations enhance IT performance while reinforcing data security in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. The seminar welcomed nearly 40 participants from a broad range of industries, including Finance and Banking, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy, Technology and the Public sector, highlighting the growing demand for efficient IT operations and robust data protection across sectors.

During the event, industry experts shared practical perspectives on building IT infrastructure aligned with modern operational requirements. Virtualization was emphasized as a key enabler, allowing organizations to centralize system management, increase automation, and scale resources more flexibly. These capabilities help enterprises optimize investment costs while improving overall performance and operational agility.

Beyond operational efficiency, data security was a major focus of the discussion. The seminar presented several notable industry statistics. Global ransomware damages are projected to exceed USD 57 billion by 2025 and could reach USD 275 billion annually by 2031. Meanwhile, 56% to 78% of organizations experience repeat attacks, yet only around 10% to 15% are able to fully recover their data after an incident. Additionally, 71% of cyberattacks originate from email, and approximately 40% of businesses are forced to reduce workforce following cybersecurity breaches (*). These figures underscore the urgent need for organizations to proactively assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective data protection strategies, focusing on early threat detection, minimizing impact, and accelerating recovery.

Through this seminar, HPT, ADG, and HPE reaffirmed their commitment to delivering technology solutions that align closely with real-world business needs. This collaboration provides enterprises with a solid foundation to gradually optimize their IT infrastructure, strengthen data protection capabilities, and maintain stable operations in an increasingly complex digital environment.
