NCA leadership emphasized that the Southern Chapter will serve as an “extended arm” of the Association in implementing major
cybersecurity programs while supporting Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces in executing digital economy and digital sovereignty
strategies. Speakers at the event also highlighted that Ho Chi Minh City—the country’s leading center for finance, technology,
and innovation—is a prime target for numerous cyberattack campaigns, requiring stronger participation from the entire cybersecurity ecosystem.
In addition, the Southern Chapter is expected to strengthen international cooperation, connecting with global technology companies
and organizations to help businesses in Vietnam access advanced technologies, security standards, and data protection solutions
aligned with international practices. This foundation is critical for enhancing regional cyber defense capabilities and keeping
pace with the rapid evolution of technologies and modern cyberattack models.
